I bought my low rider from allen iwas pre aproved and new the msrp of evry bike there, had them rote down. the first price they shot me was 2000 over msrp i told the salesman i wasent going to play that game told him the next price will be msrp or im outahere and i got it! but i will say that there sev department can kiss my a$$ they act like there gods and treat you like your a duma$$ ill have sev. done eleswere. theres more and more dealers selling bikes at msrp glad you got your new scoot.

I don't blame you for venting, I would have done the same thing that you did. I am lucky that we have such good people where I bought my Harley.

Personally, you don't have any reason to feel bad about what you had to do to get the best deal. And as far as venting, let it roll. I do it directly in the dealers face. If I think they are doing me wrong, I let them have right then and there. In a cival manner of course. I don't expect any really special treatment, just fair and reasonable consideration. If they really care about their customers they will appreciate it, if not go elsewhere. Believe me, I've raised enough hell around the local shop here in town you would think they would cringe every time I walk in the door. Not so. When confronted with the reality of customer service and the true facts of the matter a good dealer will make it right. Out local dealer has made some serious improvements in there staff's attitudes, some of which I am told by their own staff were directly attributed to someone speaking up and not being intimidated.

Nice to know. I have a co-worker in Dallas just getting ready to buy a new HD in a week. Trust me, this dealer is now off the list. Thanks for the heads up on the crap dealer. They will sow what the seed. [:@]

I'll be checking out the area wide Chilli Cookoff on the 25th at the Allen shop, and will make it a point to look up this NimRod.

What an idiot.

I am glad to here you got the deal you were looking for in Paris, and hope you had called North Texas Harley in Carrollton, I got a good deal back in June from them on my Heritage, all of the people around there are pretty cool.
If anyone ever winds up there, look up Mark Garrrett, He will take care of you, just see him in person, and you will get a deal.
