Enter a most people on a motorcycle contest! I had myself and 10 girls on my bike at a "Run What You Brung" field meet in 1975. I was riding a stock 1946 Flathead 74. Everything went great till one of the girls sitting on the front fender fell off and we ran over her arm. I felt terrible about it so I gave her the trophy.

Leaving the local HD dealership with my caliper lock still on the back tire. I didn't let the bike fall, but I had to go stretch out my ******* behind the store cause it became twisted. Went back in, bought a ski-mask and put it on as I left with the sound of applause and laughter behind me. ![Big Grin](https://www.hdforums.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

I'm a recently new rider now, but back in the early '70's, an older cousin of mine had a Triumph Chopper with a beautiful custom paint job on the tank. Not sure who should win the dumb award, but he asked me if I wanted to take it for a ride. He lived where there was an alley that split the row of houses on either side. I told him sure. He didn't even go outside with me. Here I am in shorts and gym shoes (that's what we called them back in the '70's) on this chopper taking it for a ride down an alley. If that's not stupid enough, I start it up and take it to the end of the alley where it proceeds to die out on me. OK, time to start it back up and bring it home. OPPS, inexperience doesn't tell me to put it in neutral before I kick-start it. The bike lurches forward, and I don't want to get my a$$ kicked by scratching the paint job, I slowly lower the bike to its left side and proceed to burn my bare leg on the hot exhaust pipe.
Live an learn. Didn't scratch the paint either.
