Ok, what's the dumbest thing you ever did on a bike?

Racing my 1988 KX125 through an old abandoned golf course with some buddies. Flying through an overgrown area in 4th or 5th - wide open...and hit a small rocky ditch that was completely hidden.
Bike stopped completely - I kept going. Luckily - I always wore full gear - flak, helmet, boots etc - so I flew about 30 feet, landed and rolled another 20. The bike hit so hard that the forks bent back, the tire blew and the rim bent.
I was bruised all over but no broken bones. I could have hit a tree and then I probably would have been in very bad shape. Definitely made me a more cautious rider.

A toss up for me… 18 yrs old on a Honda Shadow, a back road. The speedo buried at 125 mph. It was a long straight road that went over a bridge over the freeway. I had the speedometer buried and the throttle pinned about a ¼ mile before the bridge and held it over the bridge. Just over the bridge a rancher had just pushed about 50 head of cattle across the road. I went through the streak of cow **** and got the wobbles. It scared me so bad I stopped. I looked back and the cattle were about 100 yards off of the road. I was wearing shorts, a T-shirt, and no helmet. Around that same time, a guy was walking along the side of the road by a park when a friend of mine got the idea to ride past him and throw a water balloon. I told him to get on. I hit 60 mph as we passed him and my friend tossed the balloon. It was a loud smack. I looked back in my mirror to see the guy flat on his back off the side of the road. My friend said he did two full somersaults before he landed on the ground. We stopped and waited for him to get up, then hauled azz.

Back in the 70's riding my rice burner at 2:00am (bar closing time here)with my riding buddy on his rice burner and with 2 young ladies donning their Summer halter tops we decide to wager who can go fast enough and lean forward low enough to allow the wind to blow off one of the halters on our passengers. Well.....I'm cranking about 100 when my pal rips past me at probably 120+ and succeeds to blow off this girls top that flies directly into my face and wraps around my head for a moment. Luckily my passenger had the wits to pull it off or we were doomed.......right up to the point where we both blew through the local cops late night speed trap over 100 mph. Needless to say with the one fully exposed passenger this bug eyed deputy HAD to call for back-up, back-up and more back-up.......in fact I do believe we had every cop on midnight shift from 3 suburbs giving my buddy and his passenger the correct field sobriety test(s) before they finally offered her a jacket. Then laughing their asses off escorted us to a 24 hour coffee shop where they made us sit until 7am shift change..........to this day I am convinced we didn't go to jail because the passenger was packin some 38D's..........darn it I sure do miss those days!! I already answered once, but I can tell a story a day.
19 years old, own a 1976 GL 1000, great bike, I'm with my buddies girlfreind for the night, and she wants to bang me real bad. I end up riding into a public park, on one of those laneways, and park the bike. She get's off, drops her pants, and me being stupid, get a bad feeling of concience. I tell her to get her pants back on and get back on to the bike, and I bring her home.
Stupid, stupid, stupid. No one can beat a dumber story than that.[]

Sean, I was young and stupid.
Plus, in the late 70's if I got a bit of remorse about doing a buddies girlfreind, it didn't affect sex life. We were young. There was a million girls out there.
I'm still buddies with the guy, and I haven't seen Sue for years.

Hey centuryboy, it's almost midnight. Soon I can tell you another stupid story.
I can keep this thread going for at least two weeks with one stupid story a day. It's going to be like your kid's story time.[:@]
