I'll bet if you did a little research, there aren't any U.S. made forklifts. Just like the tractor industry, they're all foriegn. Assembled here, profits go offshore. Even Bobcat loaders are now mfg. by a Korean firm.

The whole Harley and USA thing is just a big marketing scheme anyway. Everyone who does even a little research knows they have a lot of foreign parts now.

I don't work for any forklift company now Terry; I love those "genuine motor " clothes and parts. They are made overseas by the same companys the send stuff over here to other outlets so they can be sold out from the licence, then they sue. Well now there in trouble, they have too many bikes in inventory and not enough buyers. Two days ago they had to sell 1 billion $ worth of revenue bonds (yes thats Billion with a B) for operating capitol. If they start building them all back here in milwaukee just think how much cost savings they would have not trucking from Milwaukee to York & Kansas City. I'd say close those plants and make it all one (well maybe two Pilgram Road and Capitol Drive)site.

Don't close the Kansas City plant, that would knock out alot of jobs in this area. Alot of workers, and suppliers live and work in Kansas City and the surrounding towns.

Troll

Try to find a domestic forklift made in America. The Domestic companies have already sold out before HD did.
