No reason why they shouldn't, but they're pretty small to be useful on long trips. Mainly you want to be able to secure the bottoms because they will flap in the wind when empty and you look pretty goofy running down the highway with your bags standing horizontal out from your bike. If I was wanting something for trips, you could get a good head start on a TBag (or similiar) that will carry a weeks worth of stuff for what those bags cost.
