Well, I'll hold off calling you a moron. It is, afterall, riding season (finally) and you have the itch.

Be glad you didn't further injure yourself or even worse, another innocent person.
Riding season for me ends mid june to mid september. I'll be only riding my liquid cooled rocket for those 3 months...the HD will sit with it's cover on....

Actually, you didn't do anything any of us wouldn't have tried. Most of us anyway. They must've changed types of casts 'cause I broke my ankle about 30 years ago and it was in a plaster cast for about 2 months. I couldn't remove it. But those first few weeks I do remember it hurting like a s.o.b.Just thinking about that - I understand how bad it must've hurt you.

Well, you learned your own lesson and are humble enough to admit. You're a good man.

Be thankful that you didn't hit a patch of gravel/sand and had to prevent a bike-drop with your injured foot.

If it's any consolation, here in Montana, it is still snowing every third day. So just when you think riding season is here.....you wake up and see ice on the road.

Best wishes for a full recovery.

I got a vasectomy about 3 years ago, two days after the procedure, I went riding on my Sportster. NOT A GOOD IDEA. Man every little bump hurt. But I did get to ride.

That was not a smart thing to do! I can believe a grown man would think of riding against the doctors orders, Man!!!!

I would have done the same. We will never grow up and yes we are indistructable!
Hope your foot heals fast, take plenty of motrin!

Good luck.

The type of cast depends on the injury, I happened to break the outter bone of my foot in the best place to break it. So i have a velco walking boot taht goes up to my knee, i am able to walk, just not move or bend my ankle or foot while it is on.

Hell no. One vasectomy is enough.

Patient; "Doc it hurts when I do this"
Doctor; "Then don't do that"

Hope you heal up quick.
