I know, long time, no see! Sorry, just doin' the busy Mommy thing.

Wanted to share this picture of my Mom that surfaced recently. She was about 17 in this picture, on her boyfriend's bike. On the back he had written that "Chick" (that's what he called her) had "drove" for about an hour of their ride that day. Thought that was pretty cool.

Was also hoping that one of you guys could let me know what kind of bike this might be? Just out of curiosity! (Thanks!)

Interesting faring on that bike... I can't really make out alot of detail on the bike itself, so it's hard to tell what it is...

 

Not sure, but possibly an Indian? Front fender ornament looks similar to these bikes, and they are both Indians. My dad is the guy on the left. His sister and her future husband are on the right. I love the old photos that people post.

Sorry I can't help with the ID of the bike. I copied the pic and blew it up but this is a tough one. Any idea what year the picture was taken?

The front fender looks like an Indian but that strange faring is hiding the springer front which would be a dead give-a-way.

 

The more I look at that bike, the more I see Harley. I can't quit looking at the front fender struts. It's a springer for sure, but I'd like to make it a 40's knucklehead. Wish I could get some detail on the engine...
