Default The Perfect Wife

ON sunday, my wife made some plans without my knowledge, and didn't tell me till that morning. She stated that our local Dealer was having a special one day sale on parts etc.. and we were gonna meet up with some good friends for Brunch. Sounds like a good idea, so we headed to the Dealer. Most of myFriends were already there, and greetings were made all around. On the Showroom floor, was a Candy Red Sunglo Ultra, with ABS, The very Bike I had looked at a few months back, and had decided that due to the economy, it would have to wait.

On this bike, were a few Ballons, and a Note...From her to me..HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I was shocked, to say the least.

She had made the deal, had my bike apprassied, and done everything needed except the final signatures upon delivery.

Needless to say, on Sunday afternoon, I hit the garage and stripped whatever parts I could from my old bike.

Brought her home on Monday, and rode to work on Tuesday..What a SWEET riding scoot. I have 200 miles on her in the first day and a half..Put the Highway pegs on last night, and will be riding again today. Still lots of things to add on, the parts are mostly in the garage just waiting for me to have time for the installation.

As I said..What a perfect Wife...No wonder I married her.

I'll post pics as soon as I take some...but this is one sweet bike, and the color looks great in the showroom...but looks AWESOME in the Sun..

This is a picture of the day we picked up my 03 RG. I had been looking at this bike for months and just said someday. Well, she calls me at work from the dealer and say's,"you need to come pick upyour new bike."I was like, what bike! She did everything. I am a lucky SOB!

Not the least bit worried about that...I was going to wait, NOT because I couldn't afford it..it simply it wasn't something that I could not live without. Also, I know that come fall, the prices will drop a little so they can get the 09's in the showroom..

Wow! What a wife. She must have felt awesome by surprising you with such a great gift and having some of your friends there also. I traded in my truck one time and bought my wife a convertible and surprised her. I made me feel good too. I bought an old clunker for myself, but loved to see her get something nice.[/align]
