Stopped going in 96.....14yrs is enough.....When I went my last time it was too RUB,DINK for me,it lost its appeal to me...and Bufflo Chip changed to much...However I do miss the Dungin Bar..on the main drag....I miss the big Bud tent...But I dont miss the trailer Queens(I know some folks take family dont get me wrong)...Some things I miss but not bad enough to go again..I do miss the Gator bar too....

We are going, well sort of...
We are driving out to Yellowstone and headed east after that ending up in Sturgis the weekend before it kicks off and getting out of town the monday it begins.
I hate trying to ride all the awesome rides with all the crazy people on the road (No offense to any of you here)

My wife and I are going. About 1200 miles one way for us. We will be leaving on Friday and stay over a few nights on the way. We plan on staying in Rapid City as we have reservations there. We may end up camping with friends should we decide to as time gets closer. We plan on leaving Thursday or Friday and coming back slowly through Northern Wyoming.

My son and I are headed out from Chicago. We stay at a nice camp ground about 6 miles out of Sturgis. it is the Elkview Campgrounds.

Making the maiden journey this year from around Columbus, OH. We're rolling to KC, then spending a few nights in the Denver area before we hit the chaos. Planning on sticking around up there a few nights and start the march back. May try to swing by Milwaukee on the way back and have a beer with Laverne and Shirley............. 
Aug 1-11 probably hit 4000 miles RT. Not too shabby. 2 RK and 1 Nightster. Yeah, he's hard core. He's riding it up from Tampa a few weeks ahead of time to Ohio. A few of us will be meeting him on his way up.

I'm planning to go. 3,000 miles round trip. I've been in Sturgis in the off-season, but I want to experiencethe eventjust once. If I don't like it, I'll leave and take the long way home through Yellowstone and Colorado.
