Although I dont like the look of a windshield I use a windshield and glasses, rode to Oklahoma today and killed 300 bugs with my windshield alone.

The Illinois Supreme Court said helmet laws are unconstitutional. However, IL still has a "eye protection law." That seems reasonable, because IMHO, if you can't see you can hurt someone else.

I have, however, been caught with only sunglasses after the sun set. I've ridden right past Chicago Police going the other way and haven't had any problems yet, but I try to avoid that. It can't end well.

Generally sunglasses. I bring safety glasses about $3 at home depot, if I expect darkness. On long or cold trips, I have a full face helmet, but often I wear the shades with the visor up, depending on the temps and the fogging.

Windshield...Not sure why anyone would want to ride without one. I don't care about the wind in my face thing. I want comfort.

Well since you asked.........They look like ****. Also a little less girly to be able to ride without a shield in front of you.

+1 w/TxDeuce
I have a pair of panoptx with a foam liner that have worked really well. They have transition lenses that work in all light conditions.
Panoptix with foam. Pricey but after a lot of years with 'Cheap Sunglasses' (the Original KD's!), it's nice not gettin' shix in my eyes!

I live 5 miles from work and 5 miles from the bar. I don't think I could rack up the miles I have if that was the only place I went.

Windshields ARE for Pu$$!&S.......but I take the second part back.......I'm not joking

Glasses only--I rode a friends bike with a windshield once and could not handle the buffeting. My headin helmet felt like a BB in a boxcar! [8D]I never owned a bike with a windshield--I probably will never have a windshield as I'm too used to riding without one. I may look into some goggles though.

I like the shades with the foam to keep the wind out of my eyes. No windshield.
