Goggles, glasses, windshield?

These shades/ mp3 player work well for me. Not quiteas much protection as my goggles but close and they make their own noise.Wear the Oakley Gascans, which are the same thing without the mp3 player when I don't want tunes.

I have a pair of panoptx with a foam liner that have worked really well. They have transition lenses that work in all light conditions.

Just glasses. Why bother with a windshield? While you're at it, put on a set of doors with windows and a roof. Oh wait, that's a car.
Seems this post is anti-windshield and this other one is pro-windshield -> https://www.hdforums.com/m_3211924/tm.htm I think these posts need to get together.

I have the windshield on the bike but I also wear eyewear because I wear contacts & the eyewear keeps them from drying out while I ride.

Multiple pairs of sunglasses in different colors and lens shades, for day riding. Nite time is Igoggs clear goggles, and for foul/cold weather, I wear 'red barron' style goggles.
NO WIMP-shield here, altho they are 'nice' to duck behind in a hailstorm. We run into those up here in the midwest.

I wear rec-specs riding glasses with the foam around the eyes. I had lasik done last year and my eyes were really sensative after the surgery. They work great for me.

RE: Goggles, glasses, windshield?
I went for a ride last weekend with my girlfriend. She was on her Sportster with a quick detach windshield and I was on the Superglide with no windshield. I was wearing Wiley-x goggles. We rode past a site where a hugh chipper (the kind that grinds up entire trees in one gulp) was operating and the wind blew the fine sawdust across the road. The fine particles got thru the tiny vents in my goggles and blinded me for a few minutes. The girlfriend didn't even notice there was sawdust in the air and she only had her regular glasses on. Her windshield apparently deflected the dust cloud around and over her head. I prefer riding with no windshield, but that incident made it apparent that they can reduce "crap-in-the-eye issues".

Windshield...Not sure why anyone would want to ride without one. I don't care about the wind in my face thing. I want comfort.
