Tradition not superstition, My riding buddy Scott bought me one. It's flamed like my bikes theme. Mounted on right ( brake ) side in middle of frame. Thought about the floorboards until I looked under them and saw all the scrape marks, figured not a good spot.

Yes I have one my Daughter bought for me on my Right Handlebar To the left of the controls half way down where the cables are tied to the bar. So I can Jingle it before and During Riding. Does it work? I don't know, But Who needs to take the chance of riding without one?????????????????

I ride with a bell but it didn't help when that woman made a left in front of me and shattered my pelvis april 30th BUT on the other hand maybe if I didn't have the bell my injuries may have been more severe. The funny thing is, as I was lying in the street I looked at my bike lying beside me and sure enough the bell came loose on impact and was also lying right beside me at arms length.

Mother received her bell about a month ago. She hung it as required and she has dumped her bike three times since then. DOH!
I received my bell two weeks ago. Hung it from my front fork bolt.
I am not superstitious, the bell is just for looks and that is all.
I believe in prayer and had my pastor lay hands on my bike.
I would rather put my faith in God then a tiny bell.
