Who Rides With A Guardian Bell?
#543
A friend gave me one to put on my new bike for me. He tied it to the bottom of the triple tree. Heard a couple of funny crunches while on our trip to Yellowstone last month, but didn't think too much about it. At a gas stop I noticed the bell was gone. Got home and put the bike on a lift to change all the fluids and get it cleaned up. Noticed a nice round dent in the top of the front fender. I guess the front fork bottomed out and crushed the bell and put a nice dent in the fender. (I didn't think the front fender could go that far upwards, but it did.) Off hand, I wouldn't call that good luck. But I'll fix it and another friend gave me a replacement bell. Will mount this one down low on the frame.

I ride with a bell (Fire Hydrant - being I am Volunteer Firefighter) it hangs from the front lowest bar on the frame of my Fatboy. The bell was a gift from my wife and I gotta presume t works becuase I havent had ANY issues at all, missed a couple of squirrels the other day playing in the middle of the street.
I also bought a co-firefighter and rider one with an american flag on it for his fatboy.
You shouldnt buy your own bell..... So I have heard

Got mine today, my son who is in the Army purchased for me from Cape Fear HD in NC. My bike is an 06' Police so I have a tendency to pick up HD Police items when I can find them, knowing this my son got mine saying Police Officer. No matter, I am blown away that he would see it purchase it and send it to me, its going on the bike. Thank you Jeremy, I love ya son.
