I've been given two by friends we've been riding with for years. I was riding a Goldwing before I bought my Ultra and they didn't give me a bell to hang on that bike. I told them that they obviously didn't really like us when we had the wing and only since we got the Ultra were we worthy. I also said that the Goldwing didn't need any help but with the Ultra I'll take all I can get.

 

Mine given to me by friends, hangs from the right floor board. (John 3:16 on the bell)

 

I have one, I actually just took it off the bike tonight, I am trading it in and wanted to keep it. WOW was it beat to hell, I had it on the right floorboard hanging. I have bought several for friends. Mine was a cop bell bought by my wife for me.

Is there a reason most of you guys put it on the right sight floor board? My wife and son just got me one for Christmas.

I got mine from my grand daughter. It hangs from my handlebar. every time it rings I think of her.

 

Yep...My son gave me mine right after I bought my '06 Duece. After reading the story behind them, and realizing he didn't have one, I gave him his. They both have USAF emblems on them since we are both AF retired. Mine saved my bacon right after hanging it on the lower left frame member...I'll keep it ringing.

 

And they have to click their heels together three times and say "there is no place like home"

 

Yep, my son gave it to me. Hanging off my lower right floor board bracket.

Those that hang it from the triple tree beware, eventually, it will dent your front fender if you fully close your front forks, I've seen it happen.

 

I put mine on the right side footborad bracket coz it makes more visible when parked. It was also easier getting this old sack of bones down there to install it.
