I have mine on the brace above the voltage regulator also. I used a leather shoelace to tie it up.

I`ve got one ,but still no bike :-(

 

Been Riding a long time (since 1965) never more than a minor parking lot fall over while on the street (don't know how I pulled that one off)
Now I have cancer and was told maybe 18 Months back in '06 going on 30 months and the last 2 sets of biopsies came back negative...
Could it be the bell????

 

Just got one given to me tonight, from my love. She even found one with the grim reaper on it. How do you gus fasten it on? and make sure it stays

I attached mine to the floorboard bracket with a small tie wrap. The previous owner had it mounted too high and the constant ringing almost drove me nuts. I kept it because it's tradition. Not much of a road gremlin guy.

Had one given to me by a friend. Hanging under right floorboard. But, not superstitious. The only thing I put my trust in, other than me, is the Creator

 

One on each bike, given as gift and dirty/grimey hanging off frame low by right floorboard. I figure the dirt and grime just make it "meaner and hungrier" to grab them gremlins! LOL
