I've got one on my Road Glide, the dealer where I bought it gave it to me along with a few t-shirts. I hung it on the frame under the voltage regulator before I rode it the two hours home in a 50mph cross wind and it has been there ever since. That first ride on a new bike was an experience for sure but the bell did it's job.

Show nuff! It's hangin' off the real fender about 2" off the ground. It was given to me by my daughter right after I got the scooter. It has served me well for 20k. If those little buggers do manage to try and get a grip, they won't be on for long. I keep it ringin'.

 

I ride with a bell, Put it on my 03 standard traded it in, realized I left the bell on and went back and stole it, lost it on new bike, got a new one . Throtttle caBLE broke on highway after install, {their way of telling me it to not ride with idiots in groups} and now sits on my rear fender .
I do beleive in Karma and she is doing me fine
Ride and live for open roads and clear skies

One bell is supposed to give you good luck, heck with my great luck, I’ve got four !! One on each corner. Along with proper before trip maintenance (knock on wood) I’ve never had a problem. Love those bells...

 

I have one on the right lower side of the bike. Its the police design. Got if from my bestfriend Nicole. Shes a copper too!

 

Yep, lower left portion of the frame, just in front of the floorboard mount.

 

I dont have one...but I have heard its bad luck to ask for one...and I cant buy my own so..........

 

I rode for years without one. I received a bell as a gift from a friend and put it on my 04 Fatboy. About a week later I had an accident causing $4800 in damage. Three months later, I picked the bike up from repairs and it was stolen the next day. I'm not sure if I'll put one on the new SG or not. lol
