RE: Air dryer
Compressed air from a compressor is loaded with dirty water and oil. Unless you have a high quality moisture trap (such as painters in body shops use)in line, you're really putting a lot of crap on the bike.
When air is compressed, it heats up. When it cools in the tank in condenses and saturates the tank. That's why you have a drain at the bottom of the tank. When it decompresses as in being blown out the line, it gets very cold. Moisture condenses and blows onto the bike. It is oily because of the compressor. (most good compressors.)
This is how refrigeration works. You have a condensor and an evaporator. When you use your air compressor the head andtank get hot. When you blow out air, you can get frost on the blow tip.
A good oil and moisture trap for your compressor can cost more than a good gas powered leaf blower.
Leaf blower here.

I'm a clean freak, and I've used my gas-powered leaf blower for 7 years to dry off the bike. It's NEVER blown oil or debris on the bike and the nozzle is made out of semi-soft plastic that wouldn't hurt the bike if you smacked it with it. But I would never criticize how someone else throws their money away - that's their business!
