The smells of a ride

RE: The smells of a ride
I'm in the middle of Nebraska. I've got two cattle feedlots, a rendering plant, and a very large packing plant all within a couple miles radius of home. Oh yeah, almost forgot the ethanol plant. Want some interesting spring smells, come to my neighborhood![:-]

RE: The smells of a ride
I've yet to experience that this season, but know exactly where you're coming from. I think it is the one thing that cagers will never understand. A ride is SO much different than a drive. One thing that always strikes me is when riding along on a relatively warm day, and hitting going down in to a ravine, or when crossing a river, and feeling the difference in the air temp. Something folks in their cars, trucks and minivans never even notice. They're predicting high teens/low 20s for this weekend. We're expecting our young fella is going to be released from the hospital Saturday morning. We both need a good stress relieving ride more than you could imagine.
