what would cause your oil tank to keep filling up.... i think it is gas getting in ???

 

You should be able to tell; it'll smell of gas. Don't run that motor until its fixed.

 

Not enough info. When does it "fill up"? What are the circumstances. Did you check the oil, find it low, then add some to it?

 

Not enough information. Harley's don't make oil. Year? Model? Engine? Like posted above if you are washing down cly walls with gas or diluting oil with gas ---do not run engine. Repair and change out oil & filter first.

 

Not using the oil fill hole for a "Porta-John", are you?
Li'l more 'data' like the guys said, would be more than helpful at this point.
But if indeed that booger is making oil, for heaven's sake, sell stock in it and start raking in those profits like the "Big Boys" is doin' !!!!!!!! Course, you'll have to leave the FORUM, or put up with the "bashin' and flamin' "

 

Gas is leaking in thru a leaky float bowl jet & running into the base thru the rings. Take the bowl off and get a new needle & seat into it.
