You suck......you didnt need to post that.....and if you did for some weird reason feel it was necessary to post it, you definitely didnt need to go into that much detail. Some people never fail to amaze me at how expressive they can be, but still not know when enough is enough.

Dude, same thing only different happened to me and I got a $500.00 fine.
I was riding along in the evening and ran over a cat and cut his tail off.
Now my wife is a nurse and I remember her talking about the quicker you sew a severed limb back on the better the chances are of saving it.
So I decided I would sew its tail back on. I had a sewing kit for emergencys in my saddle bags.
So I was able to pick the critter up. cause he was just sitting there licking the stub where his tail was. I grabbed the Tail and commenced to sewing. This cat had no Idea I was helping him and it was a battle.
Bout then a Deputy stopped I'm thinking he pobably has had some first aid training and is gonna help me, But NO! He wrote me a citation right then and there.
I guess the state of Iowa has some stupid law about retailing pu$$y on the Highway.

whats wrong with telling the story? i liked it, i think it should be in the next hog tales...at least he finished the poor bastard off instead of leaving it there like most of you would have. i think the shovel was a nice ending to a good story...good job.

I think the man was just pointing out a incident that almost wiped him out. I also think that he went out of his way to point out that he didn't just ride away but he wanted to make sure that this animal did not suffer.

I kept waiting for the punchline.
When I was a kid, these rabbit got hit by a car near my house. A neighbor, this old guy with a German accent (he was probably some type of war criminal), comes out with this shovel and just hammers the rabbit. While is was the humane thing to do, it was still violent.
