OK, I've gotta get rid of the polished aluminum on the ol' EG Standard. I've read many threads on here about the chrome engine kit -- some good, some bad. I've also read that some of the chrome covers look "cheesy". If anybody happens to have some before and after pics, I would love to see 'em. Would also like to read as many reviews about the kit as possible.

My goal is to eventually get the engine to look like this:

 

All I see is some bright lights...I need my sunglasses[sm=smokin.gif]
Looks sharp, I'm just not much of a chrome person.

The worst thing you could do to a daily rider is chrome the motor.It reflects the heat back into the motor.Not Good!

 

was gonna say....ya gots ta watch the heat that come of that chrome on daily riders.

looks great....but it gets hotter than hell.

 

Wait a couple months and your priorities will change.

 

dog, you're in Maine and I'm next door in New Brunswick......the last couple of years the summers have sucked (along the coast).......I'll take the heat

 

That's why I decided on my SG over the EG Standard. Just didn't like the poweder coat look

 

I don't know if this what you are looking for but I did add one small piece. It is the Engine/Transmission Interface and Top Cover Kit part #66532-07.

I hate the silver powder coat and bought every piece of chrome that I could to cover it up.
