Glad he wasn't the owner of a couple of airplane dealerships and wanted to take the plane up to find out why the engine cuts out once in a while......

DO NOT let that "ride bell" get away. It works!!!! Either the one on the bike or "his" bell, one of them got "rung" very well.
fj hit on it, get into the throttle instead of out of it. BUT, how many either think of that or have the guts to do it when confronted with this situation?
Maybe those "crotchers" are trying to rectify a high speed wobble when they go shooting by on the back wheel. If the wheel isn't touching the ground, hard for it to wobble.

Latest new on this 65-year old guy... Got the complete story today... Injured knee (soft tissue nothing serious), lost two finger nails, some stitches on his chin (his full face helmet cracked open in two)... the rest, just scratches and bruises, just like I told you before, the bike fired up and rode back home... with the man on top of it bleeding like a pig! Some ***** after all...

I am a true believer in the idea that you aren't going until the big guy in the sky says so. By all accounts I should be dead 3 times over. I have done the "launch" once like that guy but not at 110mph. Mine was at about 40mph.But I tell you one thing for sure....that $hit hurts!

The wobbling issue...
Turns out that my buddy (the original owner of the bike, not the guy in the accident) had and accident before in a curve related to that wobbling... he took the bike not once but twice to the dealership, they inspected the bike and came up that it was ok and anything reported was "normal" they said all tourers wobbled a little at high speed (which sound completely absurd to me)... Well, now that the owner of the dealership got involved in the accident... they are sending the bike all the way up to the MoCo for a complete FMEA...
Bottom line, glad nobody got killed,
Mimo.
