Indeed, they are a good bunch. I was there last weekend as well. Great weather, high 70's and some fabulous riding.

Always lots of bikes in Tombstone but especially last weekend, of course lots of tourists, too.

The Tombstone marshalls know that visitors butter the bread of this quaint town. They will cite you or arrest if you're being an idiot but most of the time, they just want to educate you. Enjoy your stay, party hardy, just don't do stupid stuff. They are cordial on the street and helpful.

One of my favorite places to ride to.

The motorcycle community contributes greatly to the Tombstone economy. It seems they are grateful !!!

It's nice to hear the *good* stories, instead of just how horrible some places are.

Hope they're just as happy to see us when we show up on Friday the 25th. There'll be close to 90 bikes in our HOG chapter showing up for an arranged barbeque. Tucson HD is always happy to see us...last time we were in town our group dropped close to $12,000 buying accessories and 3 people bought new bikes... Great riding in that whole area.

I have a friend who lived there for years and loved it. He would move back if it wasn't for his wife. =) Lowryder

I would like to thank those Tombstone, AZ police officers who cut us some slack last weekend.
You want to really thank those guys (or gals) then drop a quick note to the local chief or sheriff. An "attaboy" to the general department usually helps the troops a bit and will do a LOT of good for future relations with riders. A "thanks" from a rider can help lay the groundwork for a warning to the next rider as well. The ol' "pay it forward" routine does work.
