WHAT GRIPS DO YOU PREFER FOAM OR SMOOTH?
I AM DOING A LITTLE UPDATING TO MY 06 SPORTY NEW SPEEDO NEW BRACKET FOR SPEEDO & NEW GRIPS I JUST CANT DECIDE THE STOCK I HAVE NOW WORK BUT I WANT SOME NEW ONES SOME OF THE FOAMY ONES I A HAVE SEEN START LOOKING RAGGED & TORN FROM THE WEATHER BUT ON A RAINY SAY WHEN YOU'R HANDS ARE SLIPPING ON THE THROTTLE YOU WISH YOU HAD THE FOAM ONES.. THIS IS ALL COSMETIC BECAUSE JUST THE SPEEDO WAS $280.00 THE BRACKET FOR THE SPEEDO IS $93.00 SO I THOUGHT ALONG WITH MY OTHER PURCHASES I WOULD GET GRIPS BUT I AM STILL UNDECIDED BUT I AM TIRED OF WAITING FOR ALL MY PARTS TO COME IN I GOT THE SPEEDO NOW I AM WAITING ON BRACKET FOR THE SPEEDO AS MUCH AS THE DAMN SPEEDO COST U WOULD THINK IT WOULD COME WITH THE BRACKET IT GOES IN.................JULZ883

I've been using chrome grips on my bikes for the last 7 or 8 yrs. Unlike what some people would think, they don't get too hot/cold and they don't make your hands sweat, like the foam grips do. You'd never get me to switch back now.

SAC is the only way to go. They are leather wrapped over foam. They are kindof pricy.
I bought a good used set at a Swap meet for $20. Used them for several years and noticed they were wearing out. I saw the SAC booth at Sturgis and was talking to the salesman about needing new ones because the old ones were shoddy looking. SURPRISE he told me they had a LIFETIME warranty and sure enough, I swapped my old ones for BRAND NEW Ones. You just don't find companies like that anymore.

Hard rubber. Wear leather gloves 100% of the time.

Ive got foam grip's on both bikes and wouldn't have any thing else. One thing I really like about them is when the foam starts getting ratty I just replace the foam and Ive got a brand new set of grips again. Cost me $5 - $6 bucks for the replacement set and they last

Have the foam grips on one bike. When traveling and it rains the grips hold water for the rest of the day. Never again.

SAC leather is the best I found. You can get them in colors that match your paint or with designs on them. My Harley chrome grips failed. The chrome came off.
