Alot of guys are amazed that I put on about 10,000 miles a year on my '05 Wideglide here in Minnesota; but I wouldn't of bought it if I wan't goin' to ride it!!!! So much to see - so little time to do it in...

 

I'm glad you posted this. How can you NOT put miles on a HARLEY?!!!! My friend bought a 2003 Duece and he just now got to 1000 miles!!!!!! I bought a 07 Fat boy last year and put 6000 miles last Summer. I just got my new Street Glide a month ago. I'm thinkin 10,000 this Summer!!!! Ride people ride!!!!

 

I ride 25,000 a year. I live in SoCal and commute 60 miles a day to work all year round, and on my days off all I want to do is ride! By the time I'm done paying for my bike it is worn outso I have to buy a new one.

 

My EG will be 2 years old on June 20th, by then I would imagine she'll have around 14k. If it weren't for our lovely Cleveland weather there would be plenty more.

 

The national average for all street legal motorcycles is probably around 2500 to 3000 miles per year. Those of us that are on the high side of that are fortunate that are lives and responsibilities allow us to spend more time riding. I currently average around 8000 miles per year including commuting, but that's only 16 miles round trip. I amenvious of those who are able to ride more
