Personalized Licence Plates-yea or ney?
#94
I just tried to pick up my retired Air Force plates for my bike. It is going to say B2LDR since I used to load bombs on the B-2 but they made the plates for a car instead of a bike. I guess I will have to wait another 3 weeks so the convicts can get it right this time.

I've had the same Illinois plate for almost 20 years,"DLNGR" -a contraction of my last name. I've had a little fun telling strangers what it stands for.

Not a chance!!!... A license plate is an official document that is traceable, and you are required to display it more blatantly than a tatoo!.... I don't need some idiot witness to a crime recalling my personalized plate because it stuck in his mind, similar to the way re-enactment actors on AMW are often i-deed! Think about it....If you have a plate with any "HD" or "Hog"reference, chances are that there are 49 others from other states and an infinite number from your own state that are vaguely similar! It's entirely possible that someone with a similar plate could be wanted for a crime, and it's a fairly plausible excuse for LE to stop you while fishing (examplefficer tells you:a crime was just committed by a guy on a motorcycle with a platejust like yours) When it comes to blatant documentation, I prefer to be anonymous!
