RE: IPOD headphones for riding?
i wear custom ear plugs made at a hearing aid facility, cost 50 bucks takes all the noise away, very comfy, i looked into the ones with the speakers in them from a show at street vibrations in reno, and had a guy who had them trying to give them back he said speakers were junk, so before you spend 3to4 hundred do some reasearch

only thing about trying to buy good headphones for riding is that...
you really cant test them before.. like who's gonna let you try them
headphones that go into your ear.. yuck lol...
I bought some expensive Shure headphones, they are nice
double as earplugs when my ipod is off

Koss makes an earbud style headphone that is like foam ear protection you would find at the gun range. You squeeze them, stick them in, and they expand to fit your ear. They sound good and bock out the wind noise which actually help you hear the traffic around you if you don't turn them up too loud. Works great on c-130 flights also.

I received my custom Big Ear headphones last month. They block almost all outside noise so you can listen at a comfortable level. For now I say it is worth the money.

+1 on the big ear ones, had them a year now, they put out great sound and they block out the out side noise. They come in a carry case that fits the ear plugs and the Ipod shuffle. They do the mold of your ear and then you have to wait 6 weeks to get them. Must be a bitch to get those speakers in there. Cheaper than a fairing.
