My bike hasbeen in the shop for warranty repairs twice in 800 miles, and I find that unexceptable.
There is your problem! If you had found "that unacceptable", I would say you were intelligent enough to make that determination. One question; were the warranty repairs required to correct defects in manufacturing, or were they simply because you were not happy with the quality of the bike on delivery? If a proper pre-delivery inspection was performed by yourself, could you have avoided the two warranty repair issues. Were the warranty repair issues cosmetic, or did they effect the safety and performance of the bike? In addition, you can't go by mileage on an MC. You stating that you had two warranty repairs in 800 miles could mean that you had two warranty repairs in two years, which is not that big a deal. How long have you owned the bike?

ORIGINAL: speedneeder

I still havent run across an overheating issue with anyone that I know. Lucky or? Now glowing heads, that would be pretty serious and I would suspect anybody with half a mind would get it repaired if it was under warranty.
I think they would repair even if it wasn't under warrenty.

All these issues over warranty,
I fine life is much simpler, if you just fix the problem(s) yourself. Oh sure, I take my bike in for cam bearings that turn into walnut shells,(under warranty)but the little stuff... like seat alignment, brakelight switch,, bike won't idle, are easyer for me to fix, than make an appiontment, ..drop off the bike, wait for the bike, have to check everything they did to the bike, did they scatch it?, is the warranty going to cover it? did they pressure wash it?
See what I sayin
