Who has taken a H-D factory tour?
Me and the wife took the tour at the York,PA plant a couple of weeks ago.We're only a hour and a half away,so I thought it would be a good way to get excited for the upcoming riding season.I got a real kick out of it,not too sure the wife enjoyed it as much as me.We walked in and a tour guide took us out on the floor right away,just the three of us.The tour guide was great and we could tell he really liked his job.He did a great job explaining what all the workers were doing.It was very cool watching a bike being built from start to finish.If anybody gets a chance to do a factory tour,I highly reccomend it.I'm sure a lot of people here would enjoy it.

We tried to take one a few years ago. It was a spur of the moment idea while we were on a business trip in the Chicago area. We got there and walked around the display area for about 20 minutes and then went over to the counter only to find out that we missed the last tour by about 10 minutes! [

Did the York plant last summer. It was on the weekend though, so the lines weren't running. Still, it was cool to see the bikes on the line. I really want to make it out for the open house so I can tour the Softail plant. I wanna see where Reaper was born!

I went through the engine plant in Wauwautosa, WS....it was prettty cool....but I would have like to see a bike or two being assembled, all they make there are engines....still if your in the area it's worth the time to go through

Heading to York in june, we make the forks and shocks for harley know people there and should have a good vip tour set up on friday then were riding with some people we know from the plant friday evening and all day sat then take two days to come home cant wait. me, my dad, two guys from work.

Been to York twice and Powertrain factory in WI once. Got a personal tour at the powertrain factory. Me and another guy drove up from Great Lakes and missed the last tour by 15 minutes and one of the tour guides hooked us up.

Did both Tomahawk, WI plants last fall..........was definitley worthwhile !

Did York a few times. Last time took my daughter, but we went right before they released the new models at the dealer show for that year. Keep that in mind if planning a trip, as they close off parts of the tour if unreleased bikes are on the line.
