Did the sportster powertrain tour in Milwaukee back in 2000, before I had my HD. I really enjoyed it then. Would really like to tour the York plant, where my EGC was made.

Before I bought my Harley my wife and I went to the Powertrain facility for Demo Days.
We test rodeeverything from Sporsters-Ultra Classics,and toured two engine facilitiesthat day.
Definately worth the effort (About a 3 hour driveone way for us).

Did the York tour a couple of times and got the cool "Factory Tour BUTTON " each time. What do you do with your button? I sent one of mine to a guy I met on this site that lives in Austrialia.

Took the tour at the KCMO factory. Very cool. I loved seeing where the V-Rod motors are built and the CVO assembly line.

Been there, done that. Pretty cool, but my York excursion was on a Saturday and the line was donw, but several of the manufacturing stations were running on OT. BTW - got my pin too

I've been to the York plant back in 2004. Planning a trip later this year with a couple buds and the plant is part of the agenda.
