I remember my buddy in 1967 took his moms lacedoily off her dresser and placed it over his bluesportster tank and sprayed a lighter blue/ green(rattle can paint) over it. The result was pretty cool. From then on it seemed like every other chopper was lace painted. Alot of moms and grandmas spent years wondering where their doily's went....................BG

A good classic honda chopper is more of a chopper to me than some of the custom bikes I see now with giant balloons for back tires.

Hay Gump,
I was looking for lace paint jobs in my old rags from the early 70's. You guys talking about Honda choppers was quite a blast from the past. I helped a bud build a Honda chop, he wanted a scoot like my 63 Pan. I still have the rag from 1973 that we used to get ideas. I'll keep looking for Lace paint.
