Bike for the big and tall guys

RE: Bike for the big and tall guys
I'm 6'7" and 200 on fat day. I bought a Dyna FXD I agree now with the testament that you can't get a good feel for a bike on the showroom floor.
I kind of felt like kicking myself in the *** afterwards but the only other bike that would have been bigger for me would have been a Wide Glide and I could n't afford the extra cost, so I made my bike work for me.
Added Kuryakin 3"extended forwards and 13" apes and the bike feels so much better than it did when I first got it. Only regret is that I wish I had went with 16" bars instead. Would like to find a seat that would set me back farther, but for now I just use the stock solo and I'm relatively comfortable with it.
After sitting on various models, I have come to the conclusion that HD doesn't make much for anyone over 6' 2" but it's great that there are so many modifications you can make to make the bike work to fit you.

6'8", 310#, 38" Inseam. Ride a '09 Road King Classic. Installed the Harley Goodies floorboard extenders and the Harley extended floor board pans. Those 2 items moved the floor pans out 1 " and forward 1". Doesn't sound like much but it does make a big difference. Keeps more of my feet on the floorboards instead of hanging off (size 14). Installed a TallBoy seat. It's better as it moves you back, but they need a gel pad insert if you put any real long distance miles on a trip. I'd like to try out a Heritage style set of bars but a slight adjust to the stock bars are working for me.

I'm 6'6"/250lbs and shortest pants I can possibly wear are 36" inseam. I ride a factory sized Fat Bob. I am adding extended forwards, but it is plenty roomy with just the factory forwards. My dad has a 97 Wide Glide and the pegs are mounted higher on it making it a little less comfortable.

Seat insert
Where did you find your seat insert?

Owner rides, is a nice guy and is easy to work with. They do all kinds of stitching, designs etc. Also complete seat rebuilds. He can also pull the original seat cover, add the gel and / or comfort foam, and replace to keep a stock look. (Boss Hog) http://www.texasharleyseats.com/

I'm 6'2" and ride a Wide Glide. With the engine guard with pegs I'm plenty comfortable to go full tank to reserve without stopping.
I once road another Wide Glide that I was told was from a guy about your size. He had the controls extended further forward and I could barely reach them. I would think a Wide Glide with extended controls would be about right for a guy your size.
