6'2" 200lbs, ride an 07 Wide Glide, changed the bars out for 16 in apes and put on a sundowner seat. Pretty comfy now but did just buy Kury forward control extension kit. With the bars and seat ride is much better I think with the extensions it should be about perfect. Bottom line find the bike that you like the most and then research what aftermarket parts are avaliable to make it fit you. Thereshould be enough options to make the ride a cmofortable one.

Hello,
I'm curious if there are any big / tall riders on this forum. If there are what model Harley do you ride? I'm 6'6" and weigh 280 lbs. I'm in the market for a Harley but I'm not sure what model would be best suited for me. I've gone to the dealer and sat on bikes but you really can't judge if they will be comfortable or not just by sitting on one for a few minutes. I really like the Road King and I seem to fit on one but that is while sitting on a bike on the showroom floor. A buddy of mine just bought a new Night Train. I sat on that and didn't fit at all.

So what do you big and tall guys ride? I assume you all ride the touring models but is there one model that you really like or one that I should stay away from.

Thanks for the advice.
you would look great on a Sportster 883L.

sorry, I just HAD to start breaking *****.....

6'2" 350lbs (a slim 350 LOL) I ride a 1989 flhs. Not bad, but I need a seat change to move me back a couple inches.

I would have bought a sporty, but after the test ride when I stood up it was stuck in my ***.

I'm 6' 8" and 280 lbs. I owned a Softail Springer Classic before buying the '08 Ultra Classic. The Ultra is the perfect big guy bike, imho. I'm gonna change the floorboards at some point in time.

The softail was fun, but just not big enough, especially when riding two up.

6'4" 275lb. 36"inseam

Softail Custom w/ Ness 3" extenions.

I might have the seat done to sit me back even further.

I was looking at the RK and the Fatboy but I felt too cramped on them

Boy, we got some big boys on this forum. 6'4", 230lb. Had an 08 ElectraGlide standard, felt cramped. Now have an 08 Road Glide, much better.

6'3" 220lbs. w/ a 36" inseam, I do feel just a bit crowded. Thinking about either getting a different seat of getting my current one recontoured. Do youself a favor and get a bagger.

6'4", 280ish lbs. I ride a dyna wide glide, and have been tempted to order the forward control extensions. I use a mustang wide vintage seat and it fits me pretty good.

Only tour bike I have sat on relatively comfortably was the Road Glide. The Electra was nice too,but the engine guard and leg fairings on the ultra made me feel craped.

6'6" 265, 36" inseam on a 08 streetglide. Changed to sundowner seat to sit down and back. Adjustable highway pegs to stretch my legs out. Still need to change the bars to get them higher and wider.
