I am looking to buy a new 2008 bike and I can't decide between the Rocker or the Cross Bones anyone have any opinions? I have a Street Bob right now and its awesome...so wondering if I should go for the new one...

If you are choosing between a Rocker and the Cross Bones, then it's an easy choice. I'd go for the Cross Bones hands down.

 

If I had a choice of the Cross Bones and my Fatty when I got her, I would be riding on the CB right now.

As far as going and getting one now? Yeah I want one, but Id be so upside down on my bike it would be heartbreaking.

 

I sat on a CB and the ergonomics were awesome. If I were looking for another bike that would be at the top of my list.

Add a 103" kit, head workand some blacked out pipes...damn it would make that bike even better.

I think the dealers are ripping people off on the Cross Bone right now because they figure it will sell at 15% above list. Maybe so, but I'm not goin for it.

 

My Dealership had the demo truck Friday and Saturday. I test road the Cross Bones and liked it very much. I have been thinking about trading my 07 Softail Custom for one. The Custom really is a great ride, this is a tough decision. I just feel you cant beat the CB looks for that old harley look., know what I mean?

 

I love the look of the Crossbones over the Rocker and if were to buy a slam around town bike that may be the one. The second choice would be a Fatboy with Forward Controls slammed to the ground

 

There is no way I would ever get the cocker.

Go with a cross-bones!!!
