Anyone Thinking About Buying a New Cross Bones???

RE: Anyone Thinking About Buying a New Cross Bones???
Just reading the threads in the Softail section I would say quite a few people have already bought the Cross Bones. You might want to check it out over there. I'm sure you'll get a bunch of feedback.

From one end of the spectrum to the other. The Rocker is modern (actually a lil dated now), glam and chrome. The Crossbones is more old school, dark and bad ***.
Personally I like the Crossbones, but it's your decision. Which one do you like?
FYI - My buddy just ordered a new Crossbones for $17K out the door. Special deal from a friend. Hehehehe!

I'd take the Cross bones. Put some drag bars on it and forward controls, I could get into it. I like the springer front end but not to crazy about the handle bars or the foot pads. Just my .02

Rocker is all looks and nothing else. Most uncomfortable ride I've ever had, sits too high, average on power and less than average on handling. I haven't gotten to ride the Cross Bones yet, but seems to me like it's a better bike all around. That's what I'd get given the choice.

Three dealers around here, central Missouri, each have a Crossbones on the floor at MSRP plus freight and $130 dealer prep. One Rocker, too. Both bikes look better in person than in pics.

I would get the Crossbones over the Rocker in a second. The Rocker looks like a gimic while the Crossbones is coolness to extreme. Of course, once every other rider has a Crossbone it will lose its appeal.
I thought about getting a Crossbones but I would had to trade in my Deluxe to make it work. I didn't want to trade the bike in. I can wait two more years and buy another bike and still have the Deluxe.

If you are choosing between a Rocker and the Cross Bones, then it's an easy choice. I'd go for the Cross Bones hands down.
