Default Harley Dealer POI Files

I have a Magellan Maestro 3200. The POI file from the factory has no HD Dealers in it at all. I doubt any do 'cept for the HD models.

Here's my favorite POI file for all Harley Dealers worldwide -> http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/t...TOPIC_ID=58075

What's yours?

For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, you can add data points to your GPS. Those data points are called POI's (points of interest). Here's what a POI does in a GPS device.

Let's say you are out traveling and on the highway. You're getting hungry. You're craving the bell. All you do is (pull over first) do a search for Taco Bells near your location in your GPS and it spits out the nearest ones for you and you can map directions on the fly.

Let's say you are on the road and broken down, like I was last year on my way back from Sturgis. You do the same search for HD Dealers and voila, you now know where the nearest one is.

I have one that I grabbed off gpspassion and converted to TomTom if anyone wants. (HD dealers country-wide)
I don't have any way to host it at this point, but I am happy to email...

PM if interested

since there are only so many versions of the Harley dealer POIs that can be created until they become redundant, here is a POI list to keep us busy:

and another POI, this one for ride routes:

You have no idea. I have found more new roads in the couple weeks that I've had the GPS than you would ever believe.
It's not just for getting from point a->b. It's already made itself worthwhile by showing me other great backroads.

I agree. However, if you get lost, they are great and helping you find your way home. Also, if you break down somewhere or need to limp your scooter in for some repairs, this POI file really helps.

I too have found many a cool backroad with my new GPS.

I don't have a GPS. I have to use an M A P. Works great and it's real cheap!
