DEAMM, if I didn't have a hardtail already, I would be for throwing one together JUST like your sig pic. NYC, DC, LA, Chitown, or Bum F*cked Egypt, that is NICE, lwrdr.

As far as "lane splitting", No Thanx. The "further" I can stay from a "cage", the betta I like it. If it gets so bad I get concerned about my scoot and heat, I'll be long gone from the traffic scene by then.

I myself think it's for morons with a death wish.
I know it really pisses off thecagers, I know it does me when I'm in my car and some impatient dick on a bike can't wait his turn, makes me wish Ichewed so I could hack a bigwad out as they're going by.
It really is inconsiderate and givespeople another reason to hate bikers.

love to be able to split lanes
easy to do and get you thru slow trafic
if you are that scared why ride??
should be legal every place
the guy who rides on the side of the rode will get arrested here in cal. also very unsafe
find another way WHY??
been doing it for many many years just keep the front wheel down and cruise
cagers may or may not like it and if you ride and want to spit tobaco on a fellow rider SHAME....

Grumpy, did you ride today. I went up to Palomar. What a beautiful day huh? I split lanes all the way through Murrieta and Temecula.

Rode from Tustin up to LA county today. 405 wasnt too bad untill I hit around the I-10 interchange. Pulled off on Santa Monica Blvd and headed for the beach. Unfortunately most everyone in that area had the same idea.

Fortunately I was able to lane split when in the clear. There were a few times that I had some ******** close up their lane after I made eye contact in the mirror. No harm, no foul but mirrors will break if they hit me doing that ****.

As far as lane splitting goes, I know that sitting in traffic would have roasted my engine; not a doubt in my mind. Hell, had a CHP bike officer split lanes next to me. Haha the guy even waved when he rode by.

First timers will be apprehensive. Do it a few times and you'll never stop when the opportunity presents itself. When speeds are slow or stopped its safe. Seen too many crotch rocket guys blow by at 100 when traffic is moving at 80-85. THAT **** is not good.

I'd kill for the opportunity here in northern VA. Make my rushhour a hell of a lot easier.
