I'm looking at a few different types of full face helmets. Looking at a icon ssr battle cry in a large. My mesurements are cm 58 and inches 23. the icon rates thiers med upto 57-58 cm and large up 59-60 cm. I went to some bike shopes today to try a few on hjc's on and the meds felt like they where sqezzing my face. the Larges felt more comfortable. I also have to wear glasses so this is a conceren in a helmet fitting. What size do yall think I should go with? I can get the icon ssr off ebay for a good price.

So you gotta try them all on first IMHO.

 

Well I can't try on the icon since it is on ebay. Closet icon dealer is in ATL about 75 miles from me and I don't think I could ever get down ther to try it on and I do not want to pay the high prices at the HD shope close to me.

if you can, look for a helmet somewhere that the seller allows you to return/exchange for another size, without fees other than you paying return shipping. i just finnaly found a full-facer after trying on, no exaggeration, 17 special-order (not something the dealer stocked) helmets. i started in october. i have an xl-sized head in most helmets, but a long face, so my chin would either hit the mouth area, or hang out significantly below the chin-area. you just gotta try 'em on until they fit right...its not something you want to compromise on
