Default Kuryakyn switchpblade pegs

I just bought Kuryakyn switchblade highway pegs for my RoadKing. I have a couple of questions. First, the connection shaft that swivels is very loose on both pegs and actually has a half an inch of play in and out of the footpeg. Both are exactly the same. Am I missing something? I would assume these would be firmly connected and simply swivel. Second, what mounting brackets should I buy to mount them to the highway bars? I'm not finding much but I'm probably just not looking in the right places. Thanks.

I am not familiar with the Switchblade, I do have Kuryakin Pegs with the heel rest. Look at my Pic gallery, if yours are like mine drop me a PM and I'll see if I can help ya.

I would contact the Kuryakyn service dept. The set I looked at didn't have that much play, if any at all.
