Default Kuryakyn GranTour bag:

Anyone got any feedback on this bag, good, bad, or indifferent? Looking for a t-bag for a week long trip this summer to the Dakota's. I haven't seen the bag in person and would appreciate your input.

TIA

Bought one for my wife last year. Very nice bag. Especiallyif you don't have a sissybar. Plenty of roomin it.
It is rigid enough to use as a backrest even when empty.

These forums are great. You ask and you shall receive. Thank you guys for the input. I really liked the looks and just wanted to confirm that the backrest was useable and there is enough room in it. I have a sissybar to attach in to but no luggage rack. Looking forward to having it for a backrest.

Thanks--

I have the bag and use it every day I ride the bike to work and for weekends. It's not big enough(IMO) for a week longtrip, but it's a very good bag.

Have one on my FXDXT Ultra-Lite Classic; it's an excellent bag and between it, the expanded saddlebags and credit-card camping a week on the road for the wife and I is no problem. Only complaint is the small rack I have don't support the bottom of the bag well so I'm fabbing up a new one out of heavy wall 1/2" tubing. Any of you that already have the bag ; what rack do you set it on?????

I use mine daily. Riding solo, I mount it on the passenger pillion. I have a Harley rack but it is not long enough or wide enough for decent support. I like using it as a backrest.

I don't have the one you are looking at butI do have the Full Dresser Bag, it has shelves in it and can actually put alot of stuff in it. I am going to use it and anotherHD"T"bag to go to Sturgis this year...I did look at the Gran Tour but found the oneI got at a good price so got it. It does have alot of straps and "D" rings for adding to it plus a rain cover and tie downs came with it. Has wheels on it for draggin' too!
