Default I cant get over it

I posted about my new pipes on another forum but I gotta tell ya, the Vance & Hines pipes I got are amazing. When I went and picked up my bike and he fired it up I got giggly like a school kid. I had no idea how tame my stock pipes were till I hear those V&H. Ok I'm done for now.

Good for you. A friend of mine has some V&H pipes on his Kawasaki and when I first heard them I thought that it was a Harley. They sure sound great on his scoot. Glad to hear that they also sound great on your scoot.

My SE pipes sound great, so I can imagine what yours sound like.

And loud pipes do help for people to see you.

I was coming up an on ramp to the freeway and a guy was about to pull out in front of me (a little explaination here: the ramp also has a cross over street with a stop sign. This is why the guys could be pulling out in front of me.) I had a little bit to go, but I noticed that he was starting to pull his big **** truck w/trailer out. I had some room so I could stop if he failed to notice me after what I did. I cracked my throttle and made my bikes pipe roar off the cement of the bridge. (dang good sound and loud) I saw the guy's head snap around and he stopped and let me by.

Your pipes would have probably blasted his hat and hair off his head.

V&H are great pipes. I had mine put on at the beginning of the year and love the sound. I have seen a couple of frowns from my neighbors. Mission accomplished.

I can't quote any scientific studies that loud pipes save lives, **** people off more than quiet pipes or add to global warming, but they are sure as hell more fun to ride with than quiet pipes. Try this, the next time you're out riding and you get stuck behind two people that think parking and yacking (and blocking traffic in the process) is socially acceptable, get as close as you can and blip the throttle until they get the message that if they want to yack, go to Starbucks, don't keep people waiting. Idiots.

Congrats on a great buy, I love mine and think they too many have saved me a few times when I have to "Twist the Wick" to get a caggers attention.
