oh i jus notice jrk5982 offered his signals already , his are prolly in better condition cus the lense covers on mine are scratched from me getn hit by two cars last summer. the right one though is fine other then thelense. lemme know,

good luck on repairs , i did all my own. only thing left is a dent and scratch on left side of my tank but having the flat black is great cus i jus hit it with HD spray paint and bam! its still scratched and dented but it serves as a reminder to me and hell it adds character!

I really appreciate the kinds words guys! I know it wasnt major, but its still just crap. lol. Ill have a better Idea of what I need v. what I want to get fixed right now when I see ti all in the sun tomorrow. Gotta get a mirror, but I think everything else is cosmetics.

I'll pop off the front fender, last thing I need is a tire rub. who knows, I might like the look.

Going to be riding out to AZ in a few weeks, and I guess now only the essentials will get fixed. I work at a car dealer, maybe I can get out the dent in my tank from the dentless guy... I'll look into that.

Sorry to hear about that Ed. At least you are okay. Take off the fender and go from there. Scars on a bike give it character.

Not the Harley but a previous bike I had a similar experience.
I was behind a car who turned right and had blinker on. The right blinker stayed on and they swerved to the right making it seem they were pulling into a house on the right so I decided to pass on the left when they immediately swerved back to the left right in front of me.
I slammed the brakes and went down but lucky for me I had floor boards which dug into the street and kept the bike upright but not from any doing of mine.

I feel for you big time as it will be a process getting her back to her old self if you do it yourself.

Don't beat yourself up too bad, just try to think if there was anything you could have done different.
If you had been looking farther ahead would you have seen the car in time?
I try to learn from all my dirt bike and street mistakes.

From the above event I never assume the blinkers tell the real story and wait until they actually turn, lesson learned!

Been there, done that, but not for a LONG time. Never eases the pain factor, tho. Really glad you are fine.
But what is even better, reading thru ALL the posts with "offers" of parts.
Now that is just plain "stand up" and be counted material.
Restores one's faith in humanity and sanity.
I can throw in a pair of "fingerED gloves" j/k
ALL joking aside, GREAT to be a part of the FORUM when a guy see's these responses.
SALUTE !!!
