Rick I have a Skid Lid brand helmet. Flat Black w/ red and white pinstriping on the top. It sure beats the hell out of those over priced HD helmets that make you look like a mushroom from Marioland.

I have the same Skid Lid for 7 years and have yet to find anything to convince me to part with it! The price was right and if someone steals it I'm not out much....I also have a Nolan, Bell and HJC....I almost always wear the skid lid! JMO!

 

I have one that I can sell you if you like. It was a black XL, but I sanded it down. Now it's ready for paint.

 

Wife and I have DOT Skid Lids, slightly customized! Got the spikes from a Goth site. If you are going to do this, make sure the spikes are aluminum, the first set I bought were stainless, weighed a ton! We put the ear flaps in, helps with wind noise.

Who in the hell cares if you look like mushroom head,step away from the mirror and go down the road,that's what it is about ,remember?

 

I've been looking for a 1/2 helmet(dot) that is straight across the bottom,anybody know where I can get one?
