I have one. I also have a Vega and a Fulmer. To me, they are all exactly the same size and they're all too big. I just wear a novelty.

 

I have bought so many half helmets in my quest for the smallest dot approved. Skid Lid was one of them that did not work out. The only one that did is the ACC.

I wear one just like the picture. Came with a big *** DOT sticker on the back. Keeps the PO PO away. The DOT model does have some mushroom head but it waers nice with very little buffeting and it was cheap.

That's mean. Funny, but mean

 

They suck and there just as big as any other brand. I got one it was a waist of money. its heavy and the inside comes apart and all the little white styrofoam crumbles out and ive olny wore it maybe 20 time at the most for short rides. I am looking to get a simpson or bell shorty for when i need to where a DOT

 

I got a Skid Lid from ebay seller 2 Orange Cycles and I love it. Still has that space cadet look in the back of he helmet but its smaller than my 1/4 HJC. With my balaclava its even better fitting than my 1/4 because it doesn't wrap around the back so much as it does sit on the top. No complaints so far and price was great, my bid ended up being $32
