Helmet Question
I am looking for a half helmet that will stay on my head during a collision. I was wearing a properly secured Bell Shortie when I was struck from behind and ejected. I was almost stopped, she was doing 35-45 and I felt the helmet leave my head before I hit the pavement; any suggestions?

RE: Helmet Question
Tighten the helmet down or get a better fastener. Your helmet should not have done that. You had faulty equipment some where. I have seen bikers FLY through the air while hit from behind and their helmets did not do that. This is not a funny or a joke post. Something went wrong with your equipment. No joke.

RE: Helmet Question
I guess there's no accounting for the unusual, but normally, a properly fitted and secured helmet will try taking your head off before actually coming off. Maybe yours was too big ??
