I sold my 05 PT Snoozer to buy the bike! Wifey wanted to ride and I thought that we could not afford a 20K weekend warrior in the garage. Now she wants a bike! It will be a Vstar 1100. I can't see paying what the Moco wants for a starter bike thatneeds to be loweredbefore we get it out the door. Harley really needs to rethink it's marketing strategy. They have these Garage Parties for the Ladies but don't have much to offer!

My work van is a 93' Chevy Beauville with 265,000 and its usually my daily, but with gas prices and 12mpg, ill be riding the bike and leaving the van at my shop this year. With perfect paint, no rust and an almost entirely new suspension I guess its not much of a beater.
My other ride is definately no beater. Same motor as some of you with grandprix's, but another 260-300whp. its a 2000 Monte with 95k on the clock (10k on motor and trans). Still owe a little on the bike, then its just the mortgage.

'99 Ford Explorer Sport (paid $$$ for itthree years ago)...130,000 showing on the odo and still going strong...it's good on gas and gets around in the snow like a champ...then there's my primer painted, gas guzzling, noise polluting, transmission fluid dribbling contribution to global warming...my '68 ElCamino

2000 Nissan Xterra 4x4. 150,000 miles, paid for, and super reliable! I only drive it to the grocery store about once every two weeks. I used to do a lot of road trips and off-roading which is why it has so many miles on it. Now I just ride every day.

Nope wife drives Lexus SUV and I roll in a Lexus car when not riding. Having reliable transportation when you live in a major city where its 110 at times in mid summer make me a believer in driving new vehicles...especially when you have young kids. Cant puta price on reliability in my book...
