don't drive a beater - but my 99 dodge diesel 2500 is paid for as of 3 years ago. now that I have my bike don't have any plans for anything new anytime soon - let's say my priorities have shifted for the better.

Well, maybe not quite beaters, but a 1998 Mazda B2500 with 180K miles and a 2003 Cavalier with 70K miles, both paid for. The 2008 Heritage, well, I've only made the first payment so far. Might sell the truck to pay down the Harley a bit. (probably a small bit)

Had a 93 Toyota p/u. wish I still had her, but I sold it to move to SoCal.
Prolly moving to Phoenix so I can actually keep some of the cash I make instead of tossing it ALL on a dinky place to live. When I do that Ill hopefully have enough saved up for a down payment to get me a 2003-2006 Dodge RAM 3500 5.9 Cummins HO Diesel. Modify it to run Diesel and BioDiesel.
Riden enough miles cold and wet to know that I want a cage for the crappy wet days. Love the bike, but riding it all the time leaves a neutral taste in my mouth. I want that satisfaction knowing that when Im stuck in traffic in the truck I can jump on my bike soon as I get home and just RIDE. I want my Hog to NOT be just another vehicle you know?

Like some of yall my cage is not much of a beater. It's a 01 Dodge Ram 4x4 lifted. Wife has a 00 Dodge minivan for her and the kids. The good thing is both are payed for.

I had my Z28 paid for for awhile and when gas went up to $2.49 a gallon a couple of years ago I went for the new Harley instead of new car/old bike. I replaced the Z with a 95 GMC 1500, but I drive the truck as little as possible. I can't afford both and keep my stress level as low as I like it to be.
