RE: What did you learn to ride on?
First bike when I was around 13 years old was a Honda sl100. I saved my paper route money and bought it for a whopping $25. I then bought 2 Honda sl125's. 1 ran and the other was a parts bike. My dads close friend was selling his 1973 cb350 to get something bigger so Dad bought that one for me. I still own this bike but have not ridden it in over 15 years. Just sitting in my mothers garage. Dad owned a 1990 yamaha 650 and I did alot of riding on that when he was not riding it.
A month ago I finally got the xl883. still waiting on picking it up from the dealership. Lousey winter weather. well maybe next weekend I'll be able to bring her home

Yamaha YZ-something or other. It was my best friend's dirt bike and we were probably about 10 or 11 when he showed me how to ride it. Dropped it a couple of times, put it in a pond, but eventually got the hang of it. Had to wait til I was 18 to get my own, though. Mother did not approve--still doesn't.

My first ride was a 125 Lambertti scooter....I was considering a Bentti mini bike but decided on the scooter. My brothers and I had more fun on that thing in the winter we hooked a sled up to it and had a ball.
