And, the man can neutralize its benefit.
So,how does the helmet fit-in?
Does it work against the hard-man look?
Does the style matter?
Does it tell the woman something about the man, at first sight?

Skid lid--NOT (Quick edit--are some new DOT Skid Lids--look much better, and saferthan their ancestors.) Like I said earlier, a smart guy on a Harley...sounds interesting to me[8D]!

There are some women that like bikes... My wife do, my ex-wife didn't.... I maintain that bikes are not chick magnets... I have parked my bike on a major D.C. road, near a metro stop with lots of pedestrians on their way to and from work.... I used to stand across the street at the buiilding I was working in and watched the reactions while on smoke breaks... Fewer than 1 in 20 females even glanced at the bike... Somewhere around 1 in 20 males didn't look at the bike... Not exactly a scientific sampling, but I've found it true in many locations...
Of course it's my belief that every man would have a bike if not for a woman in his life.

Honestly, for a long time, Harley owners were associated with overly self confident men, who weren't afraid to stand up for themselves or others, and who weren't the norm. This may not be the case nowadays, but the image still hangs in there. The thing that attracts woman is self confidence, even if yer being an AHole.

The light turns yellow, then red. I pull up to the intersection and come to a stop beside a cage with four young college girls inside. Ummmm.....I got on my leathers - snug fitting to my body - boots, leather gloves, my face darkened by the sun and wind, astride the "Beast" - black and gleaming with chrome - slowly bouncing due to the power of the v-twin. As they look over at me, I know they are taken by this wild display of pure manhood.
(Over in the car, the girls stare at the rider sitting confidently beside them) "Hey", one exclaims. "Look at that old guy riding that motorcycle. I'm surprised he can even hold it up!" *laughter* "Yeah", another replies. "I hope he doesn't hurt himself. He looks kind'a like my Grandfather". *laughter*[&:]
