Baking soda and water - Make a paste with the baking soda and rub it on the sting. Sounds strange but it works. Learned it from my Grandma! (God rest her soul).

since I most always have a water bottle, I just added a small amount of baking soda in a ziplock,and benedrylto my first aid kit.
If needed just pour a wee bit of water into the baggie and make the paste, thenapply to sting site.

Everyone is carrying 3-6 gallons of sting neutralizer right under their nose.
Dip your hankerchief in the gas tank, dab it on the sting.
Gone instantly.

Somebody told me putting a penny on the area will help with the pain (interaction with copper?), probably an old wives tale but just thought I'd throw that in.
